A. It is true that this is a small piece of plastic, but the price is not based on the volume of material—it is based on the project development in bringing a vital product back to life.

The Original Manufacturer ResMed discontinued this specific clip, leaving thousands of users of the Ultra-Mirage™ and Ultra-Mirage™ II Nasal Masks unable to use their favorite, comfortable mask. Because the original clip has a narrow design area that causes it to occasionally fail, worldwide demand for a replacement became critical.

PB Supply took on the challenge of bringing this product back.

To do so, we incurred substantial startup costs:

• Hiring engineers to create CAD drawings of the original part.

• Paying thousands of dollars for a specialized steel injection mold.

• Prototypes, testing, and refining the design to ensure it was "perfect."

• Overseas manufacturing and bulk shipping to the USA.

• Packaging, labeling, and associated marketing costs.

In addition, Marketing Platforms (eBay & Amazon) charge up to 25-40% in commissions on sales, along with PB Supply covering shipping and fulfillment costs. This price point allows us to recover some of the high initial tooling/development expenses, cover logistics, and keep this indispensable part available for you.
